About the Event
We are excited to welcome you all for a magical evening led by the famous artist, musician and composer Marivaldo Dos Santos. Born in Brazil and based in New York, he has worked with STOMP, Sting, Lauryn Hill, Paul Simon, Ivete Sangalo, Daniela Mercury, Quabales and many others.
This workshop integrates Afro-Brazilian rituals with STOMP's performative language, creating a dialogue between the traditional and the contemporary. Its open to anyone interested in experimenting with this musical universe, using conventional and unconventional instruments, including their own bodies.
