01
Overview of our project
Due to increased demand, we have created a new group with the following goals:
1. To offer a Capoeira course for people with Parkinson’s disease for the first time in Switzerland.
2. To raise awareness of the holistic benefits of Capoeira for Parkinson’s patients, both for those with the disease and their therapists

Why Capoeira for Parkinson patients?
For the full article, visit our blog post on the topic.
In brief:
Capoeira combines body, mind, and community in a unique form of movement therapy. For people with Parkinson’s, it offers not only physical benefits such as improved mobility and balance but also social and emotional enrichment.
When applied appropriately, this vibrant and culturally rich practice can help sustainably enhance the quality of life, independence, and well-being of people living with Parkinson’s.
